CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL 2014
The Year of the Wooden Horse will begin on January 31, 2014, and in traditional celebration and to kick off the Chinese New Year there will be many activities across the capital organized by various Chinese-Panamanian groups in the city.
Acrobatic Theatre from GuangZhou, China
A display of Chinese acrobatics will be given at the Figali Convention Center on Friday, January 31st. The event will start at 2:00 pm with performances by national and international artists. At 3:00 pm the acrobatic show will begin, with a group invited to come directly from GuangZho, China. The event is organized by the General Foundation of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Panama.
General admission is completely free, so be sure to arrive early to get a good seat!
Chinese Banquet Dinner: The performances will be followed by a dinner with a Chinese banquet spread at Figali, at a cost of $60.00 per person or $500 for a full table seating ten.
Fireworks Display: To end the evening with a bang, there will be a Fireworks Show similar to what we’ve seen before at ATLAPA. Don’t miss it!
